My Approach to Helping
I am a compassionate therapist who offers a supportive and non-judgmental space to help clients develop the insights, skills and new experiences needed to overcome obstacles and create lasting positive change. I am committed to helping clients free themselves from emotional baggage and shift from surviving to thriving.
Using evidence-based interventions I work alongside my clients to create healthy relationships with themselves and others.
I am a graduate of the Masters of Social Work program at The University of Toronto and a registered social worker with over 10 years experience. My therapeutic approach draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness.
I am passionate about staying up to date with leading practices in psychotherapy. I am professionally trained to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, couple & family issues, interpersonal conflict and coping with stress at home and work.
