My Approach to Helping
I am a compassionate therapist who offers a supportive and non-judgmental space to help clients develop the insights, skills and new experiences needed to overcome obstacles and create lasting positive change. I am committed to helping clients free themselves from emotional baggage and shift from surviving to thriving.
Using evidence-based interventions I work alongside my clients to create healthy relationships with themselves and others.
I am a graduate of the Masters of Social Work program at The University of Toronto and a registered social worker with over 10 years experience. My therapeutic approach draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness.
I am passionate about staying up to date with leading practices in psychotherapy. I am professionally trained to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, couple & family issues, interpersonal conflict and coping with stress at home and work.
