My Approach to Helping
Overeating and sleeping more helps for a minute then makes you feel worse. You feel embarrassed and anxious. Everything feels like a chore-making breakfast, taking care of your kids, newborn or your home. You feel guilty you're irritated when your kids are acting up or your newborn is fussy. Waking up in the morning is hard but you stay positive thinking the next day will be different but it's the same-overwhelming and stressful. It's exhausting. You wonder why this is happening when you've been through enough.
You want to feel like you're good enough and can handle this. You want to know your kids or baby will be ok and be there for them and other loved ones without being in so much pain. You want to take care of yourself without feeling selfish and feel like you won't be stuck in this forever. You want to handle work and still be a good mom.
