Out-of-pocket therapy costs for clients using alternative insurance plans depend on the provider's reimbursement rate; you are responsible for finding out your reimbursement rates and out-of-pocket costs. We will be happy to discuss those costs with you before billing.

Rates may change, based on information provided by your insurance company.

At each session, we ask you to pay either your co-pay, 100% of the fee (if you haven't met your deductible) or the full cash payment.

Thank you for your interest in Astute Counseling Services located in Chicago, IL. Finding the right care when you are not feeling your best can be difficult, confusing and emotionally draining. Astute Counseling Services works with each client to address concerns to alleviate the stress of beginning therapy. Together, we will analyze your symptoms and produce goals to plan treatment in order to focus on the areas of your life which are most troubling. Our specialties include anxiety, depression, couples/family and pre-marital counseling.

Astute Counseling Services uses mainly two forms of therapy in sessions with clients. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help to reframe your perception of the world around you and provide effective coping mechanisms for mental, emotional and physical symptoms. We target automatic negative thought patterns which cause anxiety and depression to increase positivity by rewiring the way a person thinks.

We can manage and treat symptoms by identifying triggers, physical and emotional responses to situations and learning to prevent future maladaptive behaviors. This method combined with Psychotherapy has been proven most effective when dealing with the areas of practice which we specialize in.
