Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Seeking and participating in therapy shows your strength. You have taken this moment to seek therapy for yourself, your child, and/or family. That takes courage and a great sense of awareness--qualities that you have. Often times, past experiences and fears can make it difficult to seek out help. But, you are here. You have already taken the first difficult step of reaching out for help, guidance, and support. That's courageous and shows you have the willingness to learn new skills to help improve your well-being.
