More Info About My Practice

I help creative people overcome anxiety and depression. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy), which is a well-researched, effective treatment for trauma and stress. As a former hospice counselor, I also have experience with grief and loss.

I facilitate a popular therapy group based on the book "The Artist's Way," by Julia Cameron. Please contact me for more information.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

You may be thinking: "Why do I need to see a therapist when I can talk to a friend or family member?" It's a common question. One difference is a therapist can be objective and impartial. A therapist won't judge you for your thoughts, beliefs, or actions. And you don't need to worry about other people knowing what you talk about because therapeutic discussions are kept confidential. The therapeutic relationship is special because it focuses solely on your health and well-being.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

The most important part of a healing relationship is the rapport between client and therapist. The best way to begin is to have a conversation. I invite you to contact me for a free, 15-minute call to see how I can best help you.
