My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, encouraging and down-to-earth. Though you may not feel it right now, you can have more of what you really want and less of what you don't. I specialize in helping clients listen to their own needs and desires, improve the closeness, intimacy and fun in their lives, resolve relationship issues with authentic, caring, win-win solutions and tap into their own reservoir of intelligence, creativity and wisdom.

My approach to Couples Counseling begins with teaching couples how to create a safe, relaxed space where both partners can feel heard and understood - and includes tips on how to maintain a sense of closeness even if the tough times.

More Info About My Practice

I work collaboratively with each client as a unique individual with their own needs and preferences. I help people become more accepting and real with themselves so that they can make whatever authentic changes they would like to make. My commitment is to the well-being and satisfaction of my clients and I welcome individuals and couples (same-sex and heterosexual) who are looking to improve, heal and enjoy their life.

Because it is important to feel comfortable and at ease with the therapist you choose, I offer a free, initial ten-minute consultation to potential clients seeking individual or couples counseling. This is an opportunity to answer questions, get a feel for one another and determine if working together will be right for you.

To schedule a free initial consultation or to schedule an appointment please contact me by phone or email. I am happy to listen to what you are experiencing and answer any questions you may have about our working together.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Relationships are one of the best things in life. So why at time are they so painful? The answer is this: We are just human beings doing the best we can with the little we have been taught. As a couples therapist and relationship expert, I have helped many couples gain clarity, heal resentments and move forward together with real closeness and peace of mind.

I am passionate about relationships and helping all couples (LBGTQ and heterosexual, Pre-Marital and Marital) improve the quality of the relationship to themselves and their partners. My approach to Couples Counseling begins with teaching couples how to create a safe, relaxed space where both partners can feel heard and understood - and includes tips on how to maintain a sense of closeness even if the tough times.
