My Approach to Helping
In my practice, I try to create a comfortable collaborative space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, memories, dreams, or whatever you choose to bring to the conversation. I tend to be interested in how the past interacts with the here and now, finding better ways to change ourselves to better deal with the problems in the outside world. While trained as relational psychotherapist, I integrate various methods to address each client's unique needs.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
Though I have experience working with a variety of issues, I have gained expertise and particular interest in relationship issues, problems with self-esteem and/or body image, identity issues, gender, sexuality, and LGBTQ-related issues. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
I offer 45-minute weekly sessions. Additional or fewer sessions can be arranged, depending on client's needs. Therapy varies in length, depending on the personal goals of the client.
