My Approach to Helping
It is very important for me to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for my clients. I strive to provide support and guidance, while clients put forth the effort into achieving personal goals. It is my passion to help clients identify their strengths to improve their quality of life and gain peace of mind. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have been in this field for about 9 years. I completed my undergrad in Psychology and Family Studies. I then went on to Aurora University in Illinois for my Master’s in Social Work.
I have experience working with people at all stages of life. My specialty is working with those struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I utilize several different therapeutic modalities, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and others.
I firmly believe that while we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can find healing. You do not have to do this alone! Please email for an appointment.
