I believe we are all human, meaning it is natural to feel a multitude of emotions within our bodies at any given moment. I also believe that our capacity to feel is what connects us with others, and allows us to develop meaningful relationships with one another. I believe that whatever you may be carrying emotionally is natural and unique to you as an individual, as well as interconnected with your relationships with others. I am here to honor your reality - whatever that may be - and to walk alongside you to get to know the parts within you who are carrying an emotional burden, whether that may be stress, sadness, conflict, trauma, or even a feeling you are uncertain about. I believe healing begins with getting to know one's self.

More Info About My Practice

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, some of which include Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Trauma Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in hopes of creating an individualized and effective therapeutic experience for you.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Maya Angelou once said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." I believe this to be true, as much as I believe the purpose of psychotherapy is to create a safe and compassionate space to tell one's story. In sharing our stories, getting to know and honor all that we carry within us, we can begin the healing process. In the healing process, I hope to help you find your truest and most self-loving self.
