My Approach to Helping
After experiencing my own success in therapy, I became drawn to helping other people work through struggles that get in the way of living a successful, fulfilled life. I know that therapy is hard work and that the journey along the way is not always easy. However, with the right support both in and outside of therapy, we all have the ability to be free of emotional pain and to achieve the goals we set for ourselves.
I am an interactive therapist that encourages and will respectfully challenge you when it is needed. I give examples from everyday life to help you gain insight and understand what you are experiencing so you can identify areas of success, growth, and improvement.
Everyone is unique, which is why I do not believe that the same therapy approach meets the needs of everyone who comes to see me. With that said, I tailor my therapy approach accordingly and value open communication throughout our time together in therapy.

I offer daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I'm skilled at helping young adults adjust to the transition from college life to work life. This includes learning how to find a work/life balance, improving self-esteem, relationships, breakups, and family issues. I also help adults dealing with issues relating to parenting, divorce, their health, caregiving stress, and finding meaning as we grow older.
My Role as a Therapist
Therapy is a journey and it involves going down winding pathways to help us get to wherever it is we are going. Sometimes we know where that is and other times we don't.
I love being able to be a guide for you as you figure out where you want to go in life, whether it be finding a true passion, wanting something to be or feel different in your life, or achieving a specific goal or dream. Maybe it is coming to therapy at the recommendation of someone else because they think therapy can be helpful for dealing with a specific medical issue.
It is an honor and a privilege to help you through some of the most difficult, vulnerable times in your life and I love to celebrate the successes - both big and small - with you (and everyone else I see) along the way.
