My Approach to Helping

I have my doctorate in nursing practice(DNP). I am a Psychiatric Mental Health nurse Practitioner- Board Certified( PMHnP-BC). I have been practicing for 4 and 1/2 years in the clinic and the urgent care crisis stabilization unit. I evaluate/ assess patients with mental illness or who would like to know if they have mental illness. I prescribe medications for all types of mental illness, with patient consent. I refer patients to labs (essential blood work), GeneSight ( if the patient has a problem with medications), therapy, and other treatment plans that will help the patient get well and feel normal again.
