My Approach to Helping
We find ourselves in a time with an increased need for mental health treatment and support. Maybe you want to alleviate distressing symptoms, find a solution to a particular problem, practice self-exploration or achieve personal growth. It is my goal to provide you with a safe space online to explore and achieve your goals.
My practice is rooted in third-wave cognitive behavior science, which is a set of contextual concepts focused more on a persons’ relationship to thought and emotion than on their content. I am formally trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and utilize methods of Mindfulness‐Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I focus are treating anxiety, stress management, depression, and cultural and racial identify issues.
