My Approach to Helping
I believe that a close and collaborative relationship between a therapist and his or her client is the foundation upon which treatment success is built. I know that you are the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you uncover patterns that prevent you from living the life you want. Together we'll work to help you create health, lasting change in your relationships and life.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Our initial sessions are centered around helping you feel comfortable. A trusting, close relationship is critical to the recovery process. We'll then move on to discussing the challenges you're facing and identifying conscious and subconscious feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that contribute to your challenges. We don't just assess problems, though. We also built upon strengths. We'll evaluate not just your past, but also your present, working toward resolution of current challenges. Our collaborative journey will help you arrive at healthy solutions to the challenges you're facing.
