My Approach to Helping

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. If you need to talk, I'm here to listen. You have a right to be empowered to live your life to the fullest and accomplish whatever goals you desire. I will help and guide you through a process of self-discovery that will allow you to improve your life, reach your goals and thrive. All aspects of your life are important, i.e. mental, physical, social, emotional and sexual. We will work together to discover the root causes of your distress and work to eliminate them. You will be encouraged to explore your childhood in an effort to discover how your unconscious thoughts can influence your conscious or cognitive behavior. In that respect, I integrate several therapeutic models including Client Centered, Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytical and Behavioral Therapies.

You have a right to be heard and to explore your present situation and past circumstances and childhood in a safe, respectful and supportive atmosphere. My therapeutic process can help you achieve personal growth, improve your relationships and enhance your motivation. I am accepting new clients.

More Info About My Practice

I like to use a combination of client centered, psychodynamic and psychoanalytical therapies. All of your concerns will be heard and treated with respect and without judgment. We will talk about your goals for your therapy and what outcomes you wish to achieve. We will then work on achieving them together, as a team. You, as the client will have as much input as you want in this therapeutic process. You will receive respect, sensitivity, caring and unconditional positve regard in every phase of the therapeutic process. I am truly honored to be your therapist.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between you and me. It does not go in a straight line but can take a circuitous route, going forward one day and back the next. It is a process that requires patience, understanding, and respect. As a therapist, I will respect you and provide the understanding and patience for you to go through the process of change. What I will ask of you is to give the process a chance to work. Change can be difficult and may not happen quickly, but I will be there for you every step of the way, providing support, guidance, sensitivity and respect.
