My Approach to Helping

False beliefs can give rise to negative emotions that cause people a range of problems. In therapy, I validate my clients' experiences while working to help them uncover the truth that they are worthy and valuable. I help my clients re-frame and discover solutions to their problems focusing on their beliefs about themselves and how those beliefs shape behavior. I emphasize solutions not the problems. Together we re-frame perceptions in light of the truths they discovered, allowing them to create new perceptions that influence what they think and feel.

I'm passionate about helping couples get their relationships and marriages back on track. Conflict and pain can motivate couples to discover the path to validation, acceptance, and a healthier relationship.

I am a certified Sexual Addiction Recovery Therapist, helping sexually addicted clients navigate a path away from compulsive negative behaviors to freedom. Compulsive sexuality can destroy your most important relationships. Recovery is possible with the right help. Clients can expect an accepting environment that promotes transparency so they can find freedom.

My Therapy Focus

During the counseling process I focus on what defines the client, what they believe about themselves and how those beliefs shape their behavior. I shed light on what is true about their beliefs and help them discover their inherent value and worth. I focus on the solutions not the problems. Together with the client, we re-frame perceptions in light of discovered truth and create new perceptions that influence our feelings and thinking.
