My Approach to Helping
Peri Kyriacos, LCSW, MAC, CPS-AD. In 2011, Peri became a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES). In 2016, Peri obtained her Master Addiction Counselor Certification; and in June 2018 Peri became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Peri is committed to advocacy in the mental health community. She volunteers regularly with local organizations that support mental health initiatives locally and globally. Peri helped to coordinate several recovery symposiums in Savannah. In developing these events she was able to educate her community on the importance of how we as a community can support long-term recovery for individuals, families, and communities. Peri’s goal is to support and build relationships and community connections in order to develop and promote ongoing leadership for the expansion of local recovery community organizations, services, and supports.
Peri serves on the board of Interfaith Addiction and Recovery Coalition, an organization focused on inclusion across faiths with a mental health and addiction-focused agenda. Peri is a member of the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse and the Clinical Social Work Association of Savannah.
