My Approach to Helping
Horizon Behavioral Health providers use an integration of patient-centered, evidence-based approaches. We offer therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, brief solution focused interventions, cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, family systems, insight-oriented, interpersonal therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
Patient populations of focus include Veterans, Military Service Members, and First Responders. Additional areas of expertise are other public safety activities including treatment of patients who are justice involved, those with substance use disorder, and providing evidence based care for trauma, depression, stress and adjustment issues, as well as relationship and marriage concerns.
We offer appointments in-person and via telehealth. We are able to treat patients located in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Upon contacting us, we will send you an email with a link to complete required paperwork. Our web-based electronic health record will lead you through the policies and information; no printer or special programs are needed. Once the paperwork is completed and your insurance is verified, we will callemail back to set up an appointment. This process can take around 2-5 business days.
For telehealth and after being scheduled, you will will receive a link to participate in your appointment and meet with your provider. Your provider will review important practice policies and collaborate with you on goals for treatment.
