My Approach to Helping
Do you long to make the changes necessary to feel a sense of purpose and fulfillment? You really can begin anew!

Are noticing your day-to-day life interrupted by disturbing thoughts, emotions that you thought you had dealt with ? A thoughtful program of therapy can heal the mind and release the physiological impact of traumatic experience.
In an atmosphere of active acceptance, you and I can help you to identify your areas of difficulty and help you to find your creative solutions to let go of the past and move on.
I invite you to unpack your emotional baggage and leave it in my office! You can accept and like yourself. Learn to not be afraid of your emotions, moods and thoughts, and modify your behaviors and set realistic goals.
Your therapy will be designed according to your unique history and circumstances. I use cognitive therapies and body-based trauma healing, especially BrainSpotting ( please google Brainspotting for more info)>
We will make a plan for your time in sessions and what you can do to help yourself in-between sessions. A program based on your time needs and availability will be created to help you get the most from your therapy while giving you flexibility and support.
