My Approach to Helping
Hello and welcome. It is often nerve-racking for people to come to counseling whether they have done it before or they are newcomers. My approach is collaborative and I am happy to help guide you through the process. It is fine whether you are unsure about what is troubling you or you know what you want to focus on. Finding an approach that is uniquely designed for you is one of my strengths. My focus on overall health is beneficial to people who are looking to get more fulfillment in life as well as those who may also have specific mental health issues. Experience with emergency room mental health evaluations and medical social work allows me to quickly assess people's needs to help them efficiently work toward their goals. I work with individuals and couples. Depending on the person, I use a number of different approaches including talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, BrainSpotting and Neurofeedback.
