Because you have arrived at this site, something is bothering you enough for you to look for help. You may not know exactly what you are looking for, but you are ready for something new. This can be an adventure of rediscovering capabilities you have forgotten you have and creating a more satisfying life.

We all get stuck at times and a fresh approach can help. Family and friends tell us they know what is best for us, but what really works is getting in touch with our own hearts and truth. That's where I come in to assist. Together we explore how you can reconnect to what is important for you today and live that life.

Fear of change is often part of the journey but doesn't have to stop you. I have found that helping someone stay connected to what they want for their lives while taking one step at a time is what works.

I get the joy of witnessing this growth. It is a privilege to be allowed into your life at such a critical time.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I don't know anyone who has gone to therapy, including myself, who hasn't been on a fence about doing so. It's more a matter of how long. We want change, yet new things create anxiety. Two things can help. First is allowing yourself to commit initially to one session to determine if this is something that you want to pursue--no other obligation. Secondly, connecting to what you REALLY want for your life and which is missing. That's your driving force.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

For me, an important aspect of guiding others is having asked for guidance myself. I know both sides. This has enabled me to view us all as fellow travelers on life's journey. My diagnoses of cancer involved many losses which gave me first-hand experience in various situations that people find challenging. As I face my own fears and challenges, I continue to develop compassion and know that we all are learning throughout our lives.
