My Approach to Helping
I have decided to enter the profession of counseling for my deep compassion and empathy for people who have worked hard to resolve emotional and psychological pain, but they need defined tools and a person to guide them. It is my objective to help you to break the boundaries of isolation, chaos, unhealthy internal dialogue, and procrastination. Good people who look forward to reconnecting with their internal peace, fun, and freedom from depression and anxiety will feel a sense of relief and power to use tools independently. A decision to go to therapy is a goal to finally change your path to a higher foreground to experience life with an elevated and joyful purpose.
More Info About My Practice
Cognitive behavioral, mindful, and reality therapy tools are proactively given to teens and adults to manage anxiety and depression so their socialization, work habits, and short and long-term goals are not adversely impacted.
Since 2005 I have worked with teens to resolve issues with parent relationships, depression, anxiety, bullying encounters, teacher conflicts, and IEP navigation in schools. I have also specialized in helping married couples to reestablish their love, respect, shared roles, common goals and ability to hear the other person's perspective.
What Makes up a Problem?
All of us experience stuck points in our life. Sometimes we have used everything to fix the problem, but our methods or the people around us are triggering the problem even more. You need to learn how to use the internal power source inside of you to stop self-defeating thoughts and a response to outside triggers that stop you from meetings your needs. People are not aware when they are deep in a problem that all of the solutions rest inside of them. The therapy process guides them to using their internal tools to deal with the problem head-on.
