My Approach to Helping
I believe that all people have the capacity to heal. My work is founded on the premise that everyone can make positive changes in their lives. It is important for me to create a comfortable and trusting relationship in my therapy sessions. It is my priority to listen to your concerns and take a collaborative approach in helping you reach your goals.
I have experience helping people with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Using a combination of behavioral techniques and insight, I will work with you to overcome the struggles that keep you stuck.
In addition to working with individuals, I also work with couples and families. I have training in emotionally focused therapy (EFT). EFT is a research based therapy that helps couples break up destructive patterns and create healthy relational bonds.
