My Approach to Helping
I help couples and parents who find themselves fighting and arguing over the same thing, especially around expectations for themselves and children. My therapy style is warm and uses systemic focused therapy to understand what beliefs you have formed about yourself through life experiences and deciding which ones to keep that have helped you. I use proven therapy trauma techniques like EMDR, Gottman therapy for couples and am certified in a parent coaching model proven to lessen depression symptoms. I fully believe clients are capable of finding new ways of thinking and applying therapy skills to create the change they want for themselves.
