My Approach to Helping
I offer evening appointments for busy people. I help couples and parents who find themselves fighting and arguing over the same thing, especially around expectations for themselves or their children. Are you struggling and tired of feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities and difficult relationships? Would you like to get past this moment in time to find new joy and happiness? We will work together to help you find strategies and ways to manage the stress of relationships and circumstances that have left you at this place. My therapy style is warm and uses systemic focused ideas to understand what beliefs you have formed about yourself through life experiences and deciding which ones to keep that have helped you. I use proven therapy trauma techniques like EMDR, Gottman therapy for couples and am certified in a parent coaching model proven to lessen depression symptoms. I fully believe clients are capable of finding new ways of thinking and applying therapy skills to create the change they want for themselves.
