My Approach to Helping
I am certified in Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This type of approach helps to better understand how your thoughts contribute to behaviors that may lead to emotional distress. I am also a Certified Grief Recovery Counselor (certified by Grief Recovery Method). Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss. Grief is not logical, although we may try to use logic to feel better. Unfortunately that will not help. Grief is emotional, not logical. We can work together to complete your grief and bring balance back to your life.
