My Approach to Helping
Pamela Zika is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She graduated from Governors State University with a master of arts in clinical mental health, and from Illinois State University with a bachelor of science in psychology and sociology.
Pamela sees a good therapeutic relationship as critical to making positive life changes. She is welcoming, empathetic, and non-judgmental, working to create a safe and comfortable space for each of her clients. She helps people envision, clarify, and then reach their dreams. Her empathetic, down-to-earth style helps her understand the numerous challenges clients face. She is innately skilled at accessing her clients' inner strengths. She empowers them to put these strengths to use in service of their dreams. She collaborates with clients to manage life’s challenges and implement strategies to make each client’s dreams a reality.
