My Approach to Helping
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, CA. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University in Culver City, CA. I have 20 years of experience working for social service agencies. I have been a Therapist for 9 years and a Licensed Therapist for 6 years. I have also worked as an Administrative Clinical Supervisor for an inpatient residential drug treatment program for 3 years. The population I work with are women who suffer with Anxiety, Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Stress, Life Transitions as well as Grief and Loss. I have certifications in Clinical Anxiety Treatment, Grief Treatment, Telehealth Provider as well as a certification of completion in Solution Focus Brief Therapy and Seeking Safety.
Overall, I have an eclectic approach to treatment, borrowing from various treatment modalities and implementing evidence based treatment interventions as needed. My clients say I am easy to talk to because I am real with them. I am not the kind of therapist who sits silently in my chair. I’m engaged. I listen and I reflect back. I will ask questions and offer interpretations. I get to know you first, and we co-create your treatment based on your challenges, your goals and your style. I make space for whatever you’re feeling.
Therapy is your time. I encourage you to bring whatever you feel to the table. For me, being a therapist is one of the most rewarding and enriching professions. I look forward to hearing your story and helping make positive changes in your life. Contact me and we can begin your journey to Relaxing, Regrouping and Releasing the challengesbarriers that have held you back from living a rich and fulfilled life.
Due to Covid-19, Therapy is only offered through a HIPAA compliant video service to make therapy more accessible.
