My Approach to Helping
Life is full of adversity. In my 25 years as a psychiatric nurse, I saw everything from abuse, bullying, and addiction to death, depression, and trauma. When we go through these struggles alone, we can feel unseen, unsupported, and unloved. If you're wondering if it's all your fault- or why you feel like this- I am here for you. Sometimes, we all need some guidance as we learn to transform negative thoughts, boost self-esteem, and walk with new confidence.
Here's what I'd like to offer you: a safe space where you can be heard and know you're not alone. You’ll change negative thoughts to positive ones, build your self-esteem, and boost your self-confidence. I'll be there for you through it all, encouraging and walking with you on your journey as you discover who you are.
You might have questions about starting therapy - I had questions, too, before I decided to get help because I couldn't handle my challenges on my own. Luckily, you don't have to let your questions stand between you and the life you want- one we will help you find together.
