My Approach to Helping
You want better relationships, with your partner, your family, at work and most importantly, with yourself. You’re at the point where all of the boxes are checked, but you’re still not feeling happy or fulfilled. You struggle with guilt for wanting more, but know deep down that there's something holding you back. If you’re a couple, you want deeper intimacy and connection, to resolve recurring disagreements, or support when facing key milestones such as moving in together or getting engaged.
You’re in the right place. I offer therapy for individuals and couples, focusing on premarital and dating relationships. I specialize in therapy that considers the whole person –– mind, body, past, and present. Together, we’ll examine the ways in which we often feel stuck, work to understand and untangle patterns that may be holding us back, and create meaningful and lasting change.
My approach is integrative, unique to the individual, and informed by mindfulness, somatic (body) awareness, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic and attachment origins. It also pulls from my experiences with nutrition, breathwork, and teaching fitness. All together, we’ll work to help better your relationship with yourself, and move toward the life you want with clarity, confidence, and support.
