My Approach to Helping

In over thirty years of years of working with individuals, couples and families, I have found that no one person is the same and each situation unique. Finding out what you want, and need is an individualized process and one that takes time, commitment and effort. We know that traumatic situations of the past can keep us stuck and unable to experience joy in the moment. As with any journey, we learn things along the way, and grow in ways we did not perceive possible. Finding our path to happiness and healing make take on many forms. In my approach to healing, I promote the mind, body, spirit connection. As such, we talk about the food we eat, the living conditions that make us feel safeunsafe, relationships, exercise, spiritual connection, friendships, work, school, and the communities we live in. We are a person within a larger environment and our connection to world in which we live and the people to whom we relate is critically important.

More Info About My Practice

I am interested in working with women in different changes of their life cycle. I will be offering groups on female sexuality and embracing our body beyond 40, 50, 60 and 70. This is a time of change and opportunity as learn to manifest our true potential.

In addition, I thoroughly enjoy adolescents and working with young children. In the instance of trauma or phobias, I find ART Therapy (rapid eye movement) as highly effective. I have worked with young children who have eating disorders as well.

Couples therapy is also something that I offer. I find that actualizing one potential can come through relationship.
