My Approach to Helping
Do you find yourself weighed down with everyday decisions? Are you emotionally exhausted from worrying about relationships, work, family, and the world around you? Do you experience physical symptoms of anxiety that limit your ability to immerse yourself in social experiences, pursue hobbies, a dream job, or even dating? Living with patterns of anxiety can slowly drain us of our freedoms by limiting our perceptions of ourselves and our ability to cope. The challenges we face in life can feel overwhelming at times, leading us to lose trust in ourselves and others. If you find yourself lacking energy, feeling hopeless, socializing less and engaging in negative patterns of thinking, don’t give up! There are many roads that lead to wellness, and you don’t have to walk them alone. Therapy is a journey, a partnership.
Many of life’s challenges, hurts and even traumas occur within relationships. I partner with clients and use our relationship to process these issues. We can work together towards developing your best self; a “you” who can problem solve with confidence, who feels emotionally stable, and is less controlled by the outside world. Utilizing a variety of depth psychology and Cognitive Behavioral techniques, we will explore the past patterns and experiences that may be driving your challenges as well as develop tools to assist you in the here and now.
