My Approach to Helping
Chances are you are having Relationship Conflicts of some kind. Marital infidelity, Parenting struggles, or Work related issues are common, just to name a few. These can lead to Depression, Anxiety, and Addictions. In therapy with me you will be encouraged to develop self-compassion and you will receive practical tools designed to break any nonproductive habits which created the problems to begin with. I am also trained in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and in incorporating Spirituality into our work if you request that.
More Info About My Practice
I am an Out of Network Provider, meaning your insurance company will pay a certain percentage of my fee, depending on your coverage. You can call them and ask the following questions:
*What is my annual deductible for Mentalbehavioral health services?
*How many sessions are allowed annually?
*What do you cover for a therapist in zip code 10538 with a fee of $200.for CPT Code 90834?
How Psychotherapy Can Help
You will be offered comfort in the fact that although you are unique, you are not alone in your human struggles. We will begin with the premise that even a life where our basic needs are met, always includes emotional angst. Therapy with me is rooted in an appreciation of your reality, just as it is, with all of its complications. You will be helped to create desired changes in your life or to learn how best to cope with circumstances beyond your control, where you will experience the power of how creating inner change can profoundly affect your current life circumstances in a positive direction.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
I need to know what your core values are. What is it that you want your life to be about? What are the barriers preventing you from living in alignment with your most deeply cherished values? I have learned that much of our suffering stems from chronically being in situations which are not in sync with who we really want to be in life.
