My Approach to Helping
Nik Protasenia, LMHC is a staff therapist at Northeast Addictions Treatment Center. Nik obtained is Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Montclair State University in 2007 and his Masters degrees from Boston University in 2011 and from Cambridge College in 2014. Nik has a decade of experience working with people from all different ages with a wide range of mental health issues. He has had several positions over the years such as life coach, mentor, counselor, intensive care coordinator, and clinician. Nik describes himself as a person centered therapist who believes that when a motivated individual applies the right strategy and a positive attitude anyone can change their situation in life. He has worked with a variety of issues such as anger management, difficult life transitions, stress management, depression, anxiety, PTSD, building healthy relationships, and health psychology issues. Nik likes to be engaged and give honest feedback in sessions.
