My Approach to Helping
Feeling like others don't “get” you can be lonely. You may feel like you aren't being seen, heard, or understood the way you would like. Perhaps you struggle with truly living your truth versus simply stating it. What if you could feel more comfortable expressing your authentic self and live a meaningful life? It is possible to feel more confident, assured, and ready to become the person you want to be. Let me show you how.
I am skilled in helping teens and adults with issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. This is a safe, healing space for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color) clients. For those exploring spirituality (ex. LDS and questioning), I can help you explore your values and beliefs so you can live a more meaningful life.
Your health and wellness matter, and I care that you feel supported and guided along your journey. If you feel we may be a good fit to work together, please visit my website to learn more and schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. I’m eager to co-create a life worth living with you.
More Info About My Practice
My physical office is in Orem, Utah and housed within the Utah Center for Connection (UCC). The UCC is a BIPOC Collective, serving the needs of Utah County by intentionally centering relational intimacy, healing, and wholeness. Any and all clients may schedule in-person sessions there. I also provide teletherapy services throughout the state, and roughly half of my clients are currently utilizing this option. You can do strictly in-person sessions, strictly teletherapy sessions, or a hybrid of both -- it all depends on your needs.
My Therapy Focus
I am here to provide avenues to freedom and healing via creative, meaning-making practices. I believe healing and overall wellness are fundamental rights for every person, regardless of background or experience. I offer traditional and non-traditional healing modalities for those seeking solutions. I am rooted in narrative, justice-based, and experiential theories and practice. My approach is client-focused and ever-curious to aid in the exploration of lived experience. My natural style is less directive than many therapists and therapies. I use the arts often in sessions, so there will be writing, sketching, painting, and other non-verbal interventions meant to help you meet your goals.
