My Approach to Helping
Hello! My name is Nicole Roytek and I am a Licensed Social Worker in Ohio. I have 8 years of experience providing therapy in relation to mental health. I earned my Master’s of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and my undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo.
I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including community mental health, and most recently and currently in the private practice setting. I specialize in working with youth (as young as age 6), young adults, couples, and families. I am also a certified clinical trauma practitioner. My therapeutic approaches provided are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, psycho-education, psychodynamic, trauma therapies, and solution-focused therapy. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, behavioral emotional disorders, and trauma disorders. I follow a client-centered approach in being able to allow clients to explore relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my family, pets, and friends. I also enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and sporting events.
