Be Embodied provides mindfulness based services in a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere. We are here to help you develop self-awareness and learn acceptance based skills so you can build a life you want to be present for. Through our holistic and collaborative approach, we will guide you to finding the deep reservoirs of strength, joy and peace that already exists inside of you. Get your life aligned with your values and dreams while learning how to change from the inside out!

At Be Embodied we aim to treat you as whole person and believe strongly in therapeutic collaboration! That means we look at more than just one aspect of who you are and at the whole timeline of your life. We look at influential outside factors such as living conditions, genetic predispositions and all the elements that constitute your mental and physical wellbeing: health, sleep, activity, nutrition, medication and lifestyle. We know you are the expert on your life and we are the experts in our respective fields. Together, we will create treatment goals that suit your specific needs.

We also believe collaborative care is essential! It is not uncommon in our office to experience a warm hand off where your primary provider meets with you and another practitioner that will supplement your care. For instance, if you are working with a counselor and you are struggling with appetite and exercise, your life coach may introduce you to our nutritionist across the hall; if you are struggling with anxiety around your nutrition plan you may be introduced to one of our counselors or nurse practitioner. All associates work very closely with one another on cases so that you get the most integrative and up to date treatment possible!

My Role as a Therapist

It is our understanding that you are the expert on your life, thoughts, and feelings. Our role is that of a guide. We provide a non-judgmental, unbiased perspective on your struggles. We can help you navigate life by discovering new things about yourself that lead to a better understanding of yourself in the world. The journey we will walk together can help you to see the world a little more optimistically and equip you with a few tools to help you make better decisions along the way.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Most people sit on the fence for a little while before making the leap into a therapist's office. This is understandable! It takes a lot of courage to walk into a stranger's office, tell them you life story (which you may have never told anyone before) and then ask for their help. We make sure to recognize this when we first meet and it is our goal to take the pressure off of you. We do this by providing a free 30 minute consultation with no strings attached and an empathetic ear. If your about to jump into therapy, we have a comfy couches to catch you!
