My Approach to Helping
A retired Army Officer, Iraq Veteran, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S), Psychotherapist, Board Certified Diplomat, Certified Master Social Worker Supervisor, and Life Coach with demonstrated working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of clinical services. I am extremely culturally sensitive and use a vast array of treatment modalities that allows me to meet my clients where they are mentally and emotionally. To include Client-Centered and Family-System approaches, Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, Cognitive Processing, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Trauma-Focused, Mindfulness, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies. I work with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and difficulties coping with life transitions (divorce, military, grief, career changes, etc.). I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community. Ultimately, I am a dedicated provider who empowers others to live their best lives through applied psychology and clinical social work procedures using evidence-based practices in the evaluation and treatment of psychosocial and psychiatric disorders.
