My Approach to Helping
My clients tell me that they enjoy the fact that I am down to earth, and easy to talk with. Clients appreciate the fact that I am honest and genuine.
I focus on talk therapy, which can seem like a casual conversation. This allows me to be able to get to know my clients and learn about their goals and expectations. In doing so, I provide a safe place for clients to open up and explore their story
Together, we will discover what is needed to achieve the goals. You will find acceptance and joy. This can be done with a combination of new coping skills, & self-care, as well as developing new understanding and life skills to overcome obstacles.
I specialize in working with people who are overwhelmed by an obstacle preventing them from becoming their best self. This may be personal anxiety, identity, or depression. This may also be relationships, communication, or everyday stress.
I became a therapist because, not only do I enjoy helping others, but I have seen firsthand that therapy helps and can be a place of peace and clarity.
Something for all: I offer therapy at your favorite coffee shop, diner, hiking trail, or park. I also offer private office and virtual appointments.
It is important to me that you feel safe, heard, and valued. I can help with daily routines, self-care, and communication skills. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and have experience with this community. I also have a background in grief, anxiety, and depression.
