In a short amount of time, I will help you practice in session how to help yourself move from survival mode (fight-flight-freeze) to the productive modes of emotion regulation, critical thinking, decision making, and creative thinking.
I’ll empower you by utilizing resourcing techniques informed by EMDR, Breath Work, Trauma Informed Mindfulness & Community Resiliency Model. EMDR also helps us to speed up & metabolize current difficult experiences, so we can start the next day fresh with a blank slate and not pile up stresses.
I specialize in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). I will help you & your partner utilize effective communication skills that will foster safety, trust & intimacy in your relationship. As a result, you both will form a safe connection, & will get your needs met.
