My Approach to Helping
Are you tired of feeling like you're merely surviving rather than thriving? Perhaps, on the surface, you appear to have it all together, but internally, you feel like you're falling apart. You've dedicated yourself to work and relationships, yet a sense of inadequacy persists. Do you sometimes feel stressed, exhausted, unfulfilled, or disconnected? I aim to provide a sanctuary for you to explore your experiences, emotions, and parts of yourself without judgment.
With specialized training in emotional-focused therapy and internal family systems, I offer an integrative holistic approach to guide individuals through exploring their internal beliefs, relationship dynamics, life stressors, and the mind-body connection. My professional journey equips me to address a range of challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship issues, personality disorders, and experiences of abuse and trauma. I'm dedicated to supporting those impacted by complex relational trauma, performance anxiety, perfectionism, and LGBTQIA+ individuals facing minority stress. As a certified Reiki Master, pranayama breathwork teacher, and sound healer, I offer a holistic perspective. Additionally, I hold certificates in traumatic stress studies, EFIT for Attachment Trauma, and I'm currently undergoing EMDR training.
As an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I deeply understand the importance of finding a therapist who welcomes and accepts you just as you are. I validate and support my clients on topics related to sexuality, gender identity, gender expression, self-love and relationship challenges. I aim to create a safe space where you can live more fully, authentically, and freely. Through therapy, we can unpack, navigate, and work through challenging situations you may have faced, such as processing past trauma, exploring your gender identity, improving self-esteem while reducing fear, anxiety and depression. Additionally, I am committed to ongoing learning, growth, and promoting racial justice in both my personal and professional life. I recognize the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and am dedicated to considering these systems when working with clients, acknowledging and addressing systemic trauma and racialized trauma.
