My Approach to Helping
I have over 17 years of experience in a variety of mental health settings with diverse populations. My training is in the use of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), flash, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). My therapy approach is eclectic, consisting of solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strengths-based perspective.
I believe that change happens when people are given the guidance and support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling happy lives. Therefore, I believe that attaining and maintaining mental health is a collaborative process between you, your support network, and your provider.
