My Approach to Helping

I offer therapy that’s direct and straightforward. I’m also compassionate and respectful, encouraging my clients to identify and use their strengths to achieve their goals.

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy and behavior treatment, as they are evidence based and effective. Being able to see significant progress is always encouraging.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am a full-time mental health provider in Howard County Public Schools. I also provided community mental health services to severely mentally ill adults and those with substance abuse issues for more than a decade.
I pursued undergraduate work in psychology at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and graduated from the University of Maryland with a master’s degree in social work and a specialty in clinical mental health.

I work with an amazing group of women, and we have a lot of fun.
