My Approach to Helping
I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental space where you are able to share what you're experiencing and be heard. Working together we will explore what you are experiencing in a collaborative way to assist you in obtaining what you hope for in the process of therapy.
My approach in the counseling process is guided by the psychological theory of psychiatrist C.G. Jung of Switzerland. Jung’s theory provides a framework for being with a variety of issues that helps an individual reach their full potential and understand what might be at work for them on a deeper level.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Participating in counseling is a major decision, it is reasonable for you to have questions andor concerns. Making contact with a therapist by phone or email to explore these questions can be helpful.
This contact also provides you with the opportunity to determine if the therapist is a good fit for you and your situation. Pay attention to how you feel during the initial conversations over the phone and in the first session. If it doesn't feel right to you, trust that, and seek assistance from another provider.
