My Approach to Helping
I create a safe, confidential, and comfortable environment to help you feel better. I am compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgemental. Life is stressful and I would like to work together with you to make it more bearable. Together, I help you gain more awareness of your strengths. Using your strengths, we come up with a plan to form goals and to help you achieve your goals. I have over 27 years of experience conducting therapy and helping people of all ages. I teach classes to graduate students helping students learn counseling. I have also supervised master's level therapists and other psychologists. I know that sometimes it is not easy to ask for help, but it is a strength to ask for help when needed. Within each of us is the potential for growth. I would like to help you reach your potential.
