My Approach to Helping
Welcome! Making the decision to better your mental health is an important step toward improving your quality of life and feeling healthier. I am a seasoned clinical psychologist with 25 years of extensive experience assisting clients in identifying problem areas that are contributing to distress and unhappiness in their lives, and developing strategies to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. I have a PhD in clinical psychology from Columbia University, and have worked in many different settings with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and those dealing with life stressors or events that are interfering with life. I strive to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment that allows clients to feel at ease as they explore and work on obstacles or problems to lead to positive change.
