My Approach to Helping

Nothing is more important than whether you feel the connections in your life bring you joy. Whether you are concerned for yourself and how hard life is, concerned for someone you love, or if no matter what you try you cannot connect with your partner the way you used to, IT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE. You deserve to live a full and rich life ... things do not always have to be this way. That is what counseling is all about. Helping calm the hurts and build the joys. Suffering is not supposed to just be part of life. Together we systematically help you get out of the ditch and continue on your life journey.

More Info About My Practice

Let's figure out how you can get to therapy while you are still working on trying to resolve problems and stay calm. I have lots of ways you can come in. I do take a few insurance plans and we have private, discount packages as well as couple's intensive hours so you don't have to miss too much work. Lots of options for you if you want to look at the rates page on my website. Of course just call or email and we will work it all out. Looking forward to getting you going in the right direction.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

So although some people really do like therapy, no really, most people would prefer not to have to go. But after you have tried everything, then a carefully chosen time with a therapist can be life changing and quite frankly marriage saving. Learning to reduce conflict, increase communication and problem solving through counseling can help you rediscover connections of fondness and admiration. What have you got to lose?

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Just talking about it doesn't always help. No really, your instincts that going over the same things again and again is not what you need could very well be right.

Some Issues and some couples need what is called Couples Intensive sessions. Coming and spending several hours at a time quieting the crisis and rebuilding the relationship makes more sense and frankly is more compassionate than getting the issues out one hour a week for 12-15 weeks. However fits you best is how we want to help.

It's important to participate in therapy that has a purpose and a plan to maximize what the brain needs to think and minimize what it doesn't need. Fitting the right therapy to the your concerns makes all the difference.
