My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I believe that all people no matter who they are, have gifts, talents, and purpose; and that if they commit their mind to doing something positive in their lives, they will succeed in doing the things that they most enjoy. My goal is to provide you with the best service there is and to be sure that your goals are being met to the best of my ability. The overall goal is to build "A New Day" of hope by empowering families, children, adolescents, individuals, and the elderly who are facing challenges in their lives and to improve their quality of life.

I have been working in the social service field for more than 15 years and have worked with different populations (e.g., residential facilities, substance abuse, parenting, mental health, family preservation services, etc).
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
In this world, some have the perception that seeking therapy is a sign of one's limitation or flawed; or perhaps the individual is "crazy." That is truly the opposite of why people seek therapy. Seeking therapy means that you have the strength and courage to recognized that you need assistance with solving life's challenging problems. You took the opportunity to do some self reflection and realized that it took a smart person like yourself to acknowledged that you need support to overcome your challenges. That makes you strong and courageous!
