More Info About My Practice

I specialize in working with LGBTQ folx and couples or moresomes. I am a poly-friendly, kink aware and sex-positive therapist open to all relationship configurations and constellations.

I'm also a Certified Hypnotherapist. I use hypnosis to treat concerns ranging from stress and anxiety to fears and phobias. Hypnosis can help you work through grief and loss, release anger, shame, guilt, irritability and more. Feel free to call or email me to learn more about how hypnosis can create the change you want.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have experience working with individuals and couples who've been involved in infidelity and extra-marital experiences, who are on the verge of divorce and who may be ambivalent about what to do next. Rarely is anything more painful or damaging to two individuals in a relationship than an intimate betrayal. You might feel shattered and broken, or fierce and furious, numbness, or nothing at all, and all of this at once. Your sense of self is irrevocably changed.

I can help you make sense of what you're experiencing and look closely at what brought you here, in order to move toward a course of action that we can take step by step. Keep in mind that I'll help you examine your role in the relationship, so be prepared to think about, and eventually take responsibility for the part that you've played in getting to where you're at. If you're ready to move forward, together or apart, I'm here to help.

What I Usually Need to Know to Help

To help you think about what our first session might be like, here are few questions I usually ask:

What hasn't been working and for how long?
Can you think of a time when you're weren't experiencing what you are now? What was going on then?
How would you like to feel that is different from what you're feeling now?

Let's work together to be clear about what you want and need and then we can find a way to get it.
