I specialize in working with the LGBTQ population; I'm a poly-friendly, sex-positive therapist open to all relationship configurations and constellations.
I'm also a Certified Hypnotherapist. I use hypnosis to treat concerns ranging from stress and anxiety to fears and phobias. I have experience working with individuals and couples who've been involved in infidelity and extra-marital experiences, who are on the verge of divorce and ambivalent about what to do next. An intimate betrayal may be the most painful and damaging event a couple will ever face. You might feel a multitude of differing emotional states all at once. Your sense of self is irrevocably changed. But it does not have to mean the end. You can survive this.
I can help you make sense of what you're experiencing and look closely at what brought you here in order to move toward a course of action that we can take step by step. I'm here to help you examine your role in the relationship so be prepared to talk about the contributions you've made, both positive and negative. To help you think about what our first session might be like, here are few questions I usually ask:
What hasn't been working and for how long?
Can you think of a time when you're weren't experiencing what you are now? What was going on then?
How would you like to feel that is different from what you're feeling now?
