My Approach to Helping

Making the decision to seek therapy is challenging for many people. I offer a safe, comfortable space where you can explore your issues, reflect, and make the healthy changes you desire. My counseling style is warm, gentle, and effective.

I specialize in treating individuals with trauma, posttraumatic stress, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. Unresolved trauma can affect your emotional state and seep into other areas of your life. I can help you work through your concerns and find the lasting relief you seek.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). These treatments are effective in helping people overcome issues associated with physical abuse, child sexual abuse, PTSD, and developmental trauma. I also utilize emotional freedom technique to assist individuals with depression, anxiety, and other concerns.

More Info About My Practice

The mental health care I offer is influenced by interpersonal neurobiology and brain integration. I believe person-centered treatment that emphasizes the principles of neuroplasticity can benefit many people in therapy. My approach to care is holistic and provides healing from trauma-related issues in mind, body, and spirit.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

We all stumble sometimes, but that does not mean

we are weak. For me, psychotherapy is all about gaining inner peace.

Exploring and looking into ourselves can be empowering.

As a therapist, I provide safety and comfort to my clients so they can reach their full potential.

I feel humbly honored to be on that journey with my clients.
