My Approach to Helping
I use Strengths-Based counseling, Art Therapy and Flow Theory during sessions. I will meet you for sessions in a HIPAA secure online video platform, where you can attend sessions conveniently from your home or office. I like to work from a collaborative approach, helping my clients to make autonomous decisions regarding the path their therapy takes. My person-centered approach with therapy gives you the freedom to explore a broad range of topics while knowing that I will always value transparency and openness without judgment. I want you to know that I am your ally in your recovery and I will do my best to support you as you find your best self.

I am currently available for online therapy sessions, through a HIPAA secure video platform that gives you access to your sessions from the privacy of your home. I am a Board Certified TeleMental Health provider (BC-TMH). I see clients during later hours, to accommodate traditional work schedules, and I can schedule appointments as late as 10pm on weekdays. How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I am not a person who has learned everything just from reading a textbook. My own life's struggles have led me to where I am today, and I believe that being a therapist is my life's purpose. I've experienced grief and loss, trauma and overwhelm, and I've learned to use those experiences to improve my resiliency and strength. I believe that there are a few different types of therapists in the world--those that learn about mental health from books, and then attempt to understand clients from a firsthand perspective based on the textbook material, and those like me, who have been through it, used those experiences as motivation to make a difference in the world, and found a way to combine life experience with formal education in order to support clients working through difficult areas of life. I believe that if I can overcome the difficulties I've been faced with in my life, you can do it too. I want to help be your support on your journey through it as you develop into your most resilient, strong, amazing self.
