I believe we all have the power to overcome obstacles and become masters of our own destinies. When our abilities within are ignited, the possibilities are endless. Sometimes, we just need a little guidance to find our true strength and skills already inside of us.

I warmly support and guide individuals and families through personal hardships. We all experience life challenges- whether it be feelings of anxiety, depression, divorce, family discord or simply dealing with an unexpected lifestyle change. We are all imperfect human beings and we were not bred to solve our problems on our own. Asking for help is a sign of strength and shows humbleness, humility and integrity. At some point in time, we all need help to learn skills to overcome life's burdens and get back to feeling like ourselves again. I offer a warm, safe and compassionate environment and tend to be very person-centered in my therapy approach but frequently integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy approaches.

More Info About My Practice

I've been working with individuals, children and families for over 15 years. I have experience with a wide array of various family challenges, behaviors across home, school and community settings, ADHD, Anxiety, Anger Management, Depression, Self-Harm, Grief and Loss, Abuse, Separation, Co-parenting, Couples Challenges, Relationship Issues Among Young Adults, General Family Disruption and Blended Families to name a few.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

I truly believe "love" in all sense of the word, is a natural healer. When we build strong, supportive, positive relationships with others, we function better, are more optimistic and hopeful and have an overall general sense of well-being. As humans, we aren't bred to be alone. We all need help from others at some point in time. A therapist can be an unbiased, non-judgmental individual to provide an outside perspective that may not otherwise be seen by friends and family.
